Why Home Assistant
Every manufacturer has its own app and cloud. When a company shuts down, its devices often stop working. Home Assistant runs at home on a Raspberry Pi, a mini PC or a NAS, brings thousands of brands together in one app, and automations work even without the internet.
Examples of automations
- When everyone leaves the house, the heating turns off and the alarm turns on.
