Historical accuracy
The creators worked with historians and reconstructed real castles and villages from period maps. Combat is demanding and the player has to learn it, just like reading, which Henry cannot do at the start.
Kickstarter
In 2014 the project raised more than a million pounds from fans on Kickstarter, which convinced investors. The game has sold millions of copies.
The second game
Kingdom Come: Deliverance II came out in February 2025 and became a big hit, highly rated by critics and players alike. This made Warhorse one of the most successful studios in Central Europe.
